The Devils Lake Fire Department checked ice conditions late yesterday afternoon and determined ice conditions to be safe enough for the tournament on January 30, 2016. The Tournament Committee stated, “The fishing committee drilled holes on Wednesday the 20th @ the tournament site. We found ice conditions to range between 14 inches to 19 inches and only 2 inches of snow. We feel comfortable with our decision to hold the event.”
