Annual event generates funds to support breast cancer awareness month
MARSHALL, MINN – (10/27/15) - Runnings “Ladies Night” generated $10,000 to help in the fight against breast cancer. The annual event, which was held on October 21st at twenty-eight Runnings stores, hosted thousands of customers for an evening of giveaways, product demonstrations and free samples. Customers purchased a designer tote and received a discount on whatever items fit inside. Runnings donated $1.00 from the sale of each bag to breast cancer affiliated organizations within each hosting store’s local area. Since it first started in 2010, “Ladies Night” has raised more than $40,000.
